ABOUT LOCAL YOUTH
Local Youth is the 6th-12 grade ministry of Local Church. Local Youth exists to help students learn how to seek God & become a disciple of Jesus in their local school. Local Youth meets primarily on Wednesday nights during the school semesters at Local Church on 6720 Kern Road, Knoxville, TN 37819.

Meet Our Youth Leader
Caleb Mettler is our Student Minister in Residence at Local Church, where he oversees Local Youth, Local College, and our Prayer Ministry. Originally from Saldanha, South Africa, Caleb gave his life to Jesus in 2018 and has spent the last five years serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Fire & Fragrance.
His ministry has taken him to Lebanon, Malawi, Japan, and the Netherlands, where he has helped make disciples and equip the local church. Above all, Caleb is passionate about seeing the next generation encounter Jesus and believes God desires to raise up a generation in Knoxville that is marked by hunger for His presence and lives on mission for His Kingdom.
